Shahbaz Sharif Merit Scholarships (SSMS) Details 

Scholar Shahbaz Sharif, Chief Minister Punjab is continually introducing certain attractive educational programs and scholarships. “Shahbaz Sharif Merit Scholarships (SSMS)” is the latest one, whose advertisement Ad was first seen on certain leading Pakistani newspapers on 27-11-2016. According to details, there are total 150000 scholarships, under the umbrella of The Punjab Academic Endowment Fund (PEEF), 20% of its annual scholarship quota is reserved for master level education.
In this scheme applications are invited from the highly talented students admitted during fall semester 2016-17 in the Master Level/MS/M.Phil study program.

Master Scholarships Eligibility Criteria:-
·        Must be a Pakistani citizen.
·        Have passed B.A/B.Sc/B.Com/BBA in 2014/2015/2016 annual exams with at least 60% or 2.50 CGPA.Students who have passed BA/B.Sc./BSc (Hons)/BCS/BBA (Hons)/B.Com (Hons) 2014/2015/2016 (04-year program) and are studying in MS/M.Phil program is eligible to apply.
·        Students who already have secured M.A./M.Sc. Degree is not eligible for PEEF Master Level Scholarship.
·        Applicant age should be below 28 years.
·        Secured admission as a full-time student in the current academic year (2016-17) in one of the partner University / Degree Awarding Institution.
·        Students enrolled in Spring/Fall session and Morning / Afternoon / Evening sessions are also eligible to apply for PEEF – SSMS Master’s level scholarships.
·        Declared monthly income of parents is equal to or less than Rs. 30,000/.
·        Children of Govt. employees in BPS 1-4 are exempted from the condition of income if salary is the only source of income.
·        Not availed Prime Minister Fee Reimbursement Scheme 2016-17.
How to Apply:
·        Duly filled application forms submit to your University financial aid office.
·        The application form download link is given at the end.
·        The last date for the receipt of applications is 16th December 2016.

Attested Documents Required

·        Educational documents from Matric to onwards.
·        Income Certificate duly verified by the Ilqa Tehsildar in the case of Agriculture, Computerized salary slip in respect of serving personnel (Government/Semi- Government).
·        Domicile Certificate / National Identity Card of the applicant, father and mother.
·        In the case of Orphan Student, Death Certificate of the father must be attached.
·        Current Utility bills (Electricity, Gas, Telephone, Water).
·        Attested copy of rent agreement (if applicable).
·        Copies of last & latest fee receipts of self and siblings i.e. brothers, sisters.
·        Copies of Medical bills, related documents and expenditure incurred more than Rs.2000/P.M.
·        Proof of previous scholarship(s) attained (if applicable).
·        Statement of purpose & three passport size Photographs.
