Children and kids can be stubborn at times and embarrass their parents. I have come across many times when kids could be insistent on what they want while shopping and would not hesitate to throw tantrums even in crowded areas to get what they want. A couple of months ago I was window shopping at one of the malls close to my house and a crowd that had gathered caught my attention. I went to have a look as to what people had gathered for. A young kid of 3 years was misbehaving with his parents beating them, rolling on the floor, crying loudly getting the attention of the people who were watching the same. There was a lot of whispers in the crowd and the parents of the kid who created a drama had fallen faces and apologized to the crowds and finally they had to yield to the child’s words. Watching the drama, I felt sad and remembered how helpless the parents were and also recollected my childhood days when I would throw tantrums to get what I wanted and that was then I realized how my parents might have felt then and immediately called them and apologized to them for being a brat as a kid. They were wondering why I did so. Later after I got back home, I told them about the incident in the mall. This was an eye-opener and taught me not to lose my temper in public places embarrassing my family.
