To What Extent Do You Agree or Disagree? IELTS Writing Task 2, Electric Devices Vs Printed
In
the modern hi-fi technological world, one can get any what’s what at the snap
of his/her fingers.Printed media such as books, newspapers and magazines is
taking a back seat.
The
essay examines the importance of electronic devices in accessing information
over dailies and journals.
First
and foremost, the mankind is dependent on the advanced science know how for
his/her daily routine. It is more flexible to get to know the happenings on electronic
gadgets in no time. Furthermore, every individual carries a smart phone which
is like carrying the world in your pocket. Any kind of knowledge can be
accessed from any nook and corner of the world and at any time zone. To illustrate,
a person living in the melting pots, need to be on his/her toes to keep up with
the rat race. He or she may not have the time to read printed news dailies and
would prefer to read the happenings on his/her smart phone while commuting to
work. It is easier and flexible in the present era. The preference of reading has
changed from reading printed material to electronic material. Elderly citizens
opine the other way round where they wish to read the printed material for
various factors such as it would keep them busy for a part of the day.
In
continuation, the senior community prefers to read published material as it not
helps them to learn the happenings in their nation but also worldwide. In
addition, as the saying goes old is gold, likewise any journals or tabloids
printed do not lose their popularity. To cite an example, the retired
fraternity has all day to himself or herself and would have been habituated to
read the newspaper from his/her younger days while sipping the first coffee or
tea in the morning. Thus one can say that people still are willing to read newspapers
and magazines as they opine that they get to read the facts.
In
brief, accessing information both from electronic devices and from printed
media is equally popular among the human’s different walks of life.
